This policy supplements the Privacy Policy and describes the cookies and similar technologies used on comproove.com, in line with Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and reads on later visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, store or read information on your device in a comparable way. In this policy, “cookies” also covers these technologies unless stated otherwise.
First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set by other domains whose content is embedded in the page.
2. Types of cookies
- Strictly necessary (technical) cookies are needed for the website to work or to provide a service you have explicitly requested, including security functions and remembering your cookie choices. They do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies collect information about how the website is used. Unless they meet the conditions to be treated as technical cookies, they require your consent.
- Marketing and profiling cookies are used to build profiles and to show personalised content or advertising. They require your consent.

4. Analytics cookies
This website does not currently use analytics cookies or analytics tools. The “Analytics” category in the preferences panel is prepared for possible future use and is off by default.
5. Marketing cookies
This website does not currently use marketing or profiling cookies. The “Marketing” category in the preferences panel is prepared for possible future use and is off by default.
If we introduce analytics or marketing services, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again before activating them.
6. Other technologies
The network infrastructure that delivers the website (Cloudflare) can instruct your browser, through the Report-To and NEL HTTP headers, to send Cloudflare reports about network errors that occur when loading the website. These reports are used to monitor the reliability of the service. The instruction is stored by your browser; no cookie is set for this purpose.
7. How we manage your consent
- On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject non-essential cookies or customise your choice. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Closing the banner with the “×” button keeps only the necessary cookies, as if you had rejected non-essential ones. Scrolling or continuing to browse is not treated as consent.
- Optional categories stay off until you turn them on.
- Your choice is stored for 182 days in the cc_cookie cookie. The banner appears again when it expires, if you delete your cookies, or if we change the categories or the services in use.
8. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page or with the button below. When you withdraw consent for a category, the website turns off the related services and deletes the first-party cookies of that category that it can access.
Cookies set by third-party domains cannot be deleted by this website. You can remove them in your browser settings, which also let you block or delete all cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the website, such as the contact form, from working.
9. Contact
For more information on how we process personal data, read the Privacy Policy or write to [email protected].
10. Updates
We update this policy when the cookies used on the website change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
